The Story Behind the Crumb Trail
Chocolate Dino began with two people baking from home during lockdown, sending cookies to friends and family through the post. What started as an online side hustle quickly grew into a nationwide cookie delivery business and later into one of London’s most loved bakeries and cafés.
Every cookie, brownie and brunch plate is still made the same way: by hand, with real butter, Belgian chocolate and a whole lot of heart.
We’ve come a long way from those first online orders. Today, Chocolate Dino is a multi-award-winning bakery and café serving cookies, brunch and speciality coffee in Waterloo — and delivering nationwide so anyone can follow the crumb trail.

If I could give this place a million stars, I would! What a local gem. 💕 Locally roasted coffee beans; you can taste the difference! The food? Excellent! Best waffles and croffle I've ever tasted.
First time here after passing this cafe several times on my commute to work. The French toast was amazing, sweet and didn’t even need the maple syrup.
I would have posted a photo of the gorgeous food but I was too busy inhaling it - evidence in the empty takeaway box! I had espresso, a chocolate spread and strawberry half waffle
Came here for the Sunday brunch and it was delicious! Not only was the food 10/10 but the staff were all very friendly and accommodating. One thing they do not compromise on is the ingredients of their food, the quality was exceptional...
The staff is lovely and the food is incredible. The crookie is 10/10 and they have great season specials. We even got a free cookie 🥹 Will be coming back for sure!..
